Hot off the press – our annual lion dance performance took place this Tuesday and needless to say it was a roaring success!
Lion Dance is a traditional performance that is designed to bring good luck and prosperity during Lunar New Year. The choreography mimics the movements of the royal, fierce lions, and the loud drumming is scored to chase away any evil spirits. Check out some of our favourite snapshots to get a taste of the festivity!
The lion taking a sneak peek of Bodhi Restaurant before making its grand (and loud) entrance.
Our diners are thrilled to make lion's acquaintance.
The lions are thrilled to receive something from our diners in return.
Can you guess what it is? (Hint: it's not food!)
The answer is lucky red packets, which may or may not contain $$$ 🤫
Looks like this giant cat has a soft spot for children ❤️
...like a really soft spot. (You can almost hear it purr!)
And of course we've planned something special for our diners too.
Here our Restaurant Manager, Ben, is giving away lucky red packets to every table.
The birthday vibe is strong because this lovely lady just won something!
Is it a free basket of vegan dumplings? Or a $200 dining voucher at Bodhi?
Guess you won't find out!
Well, that pretty much sums up our epic night. See you next year!
