Originated from traditional Chinese medicine, facial Gua Sha is a massage technique that can help relax our face muscles, boost blood circulation, promote lymphatic drainage, reduce puffiness and inflammation (yes! please!).
For those who are new to the Gua Sha sensation, this beauty hack typically involves scraping a bespoke shaped jade or rose quartz stone over the face in upward motion. Different area on your face will trigger a different effect and its benefits include smoothening fine line, reducing dark circles, firming the skin, and so on. (See image below)

The recommendation is to do it two to three times a week, and the time of day you do it depends on what outcome you’re after. If you do it in the morning, it can help get rid of your puffiness; if you do it at night, it can help relieve muscle tension.
