Celebrate Mother's Day at Bodhi | Vegan body products | Visit Bodhi this No Meat May


We'll be serving special vegan desserts for Mother's Day, including vegan chocolate-filled rose buns at lunch and pandan cake accompanied by kaya jam and vegan caramelised sea salt ice cream during dinner. Mum will also receive a complimentary gift bag filled with some of our favourite vegan products.



Keeping it in the family 


With Mother's Day coming up, what a great time to celebrate some of the wonderful women behind the Bodhi brand. The restaurant was first opened in Sydney's Haymarket in 1988 by Lee-Leng Whong, who's daughter Heaven Leigh later opened the current Bodhi in Cook+Phillip Park in 2000. Family has always played a central role at Bodhi and we recognise and thank our mothers for which none of this would have been possible. Here is a photo of Heaven with her mother, Lee-Leng. 




Bodhi loves: Two Good


Social enterprise, Two Good has launched its #LoveAnotherMother campaign for Mother's Day, where for every two 500ml bottles of hand wash or hand lotion bought, a care pack is donated to a women’s shelter. The products are vegan, made from 100% natural ingredients and not tested on animals, and the packaging is made using recycled plastic bottles. We're so thrilled to be offering them as part of our complimentary Mother's Day gift bags! 


Doing Vivid this No Meat May?


Whether you're vegan, vegetarian or a meat lover participating in No Meat May, Bodhi is the ideal spot to stop off before or after a visit to Vivid Sydney. We've even got our own coloured lights to help set the scene! 

We'll be open our usual hours throughout the festival, Friday 25 May to Saturday 16 June:


Lunch - Yum Cha Monday - Friday: 11am - 3pm Saturday - Sunday: 11am - 4pm 

​​Dinner - A la Carte Tuesday - Sunday: 5pm – 10pm

Please note, we will be closed on Monday 11 June for the Queen's Birthday public holiday.
