Lunar New Year | Meet the team | Bodhi gift vouchers
Lunar New Year celebrations
Bodhi is proud to be taking part in Sydney's Lunar New Year festivities from
February 1 - 10. The city will be lit up with vibrant colour to welcome the Year of the Pig, and to celebrate we'll be offering a specially curated Lunar Feast.
Join us throughout the month to feast on our special Yum Cha menu, or our a la carte menu which includes roasted teriyaki cauliflower (above) and Longevity Noodles, a signature dish for Lunar New Year, which symbolise a long and prosperous life.
On 5 February, we'll be hosting a special Lunar New Year celebration, complete with an inspired menu, and topped off with lion dancers. Visit our website for further details about the event.
Meet the team: Brooke Ng
Brooke heads up Bodhi's kitchen during a la carte service. She loves working on new dishes - her favourite, and most creative so far, is the Charcoal gnocchi.
This dish takes inspiration from both Italy and Asia, bringing them together to present a very non-traditional dish. Brooke's biggest challenge was making Charcoal gnocchi delicious without using onion, garlic or cheese. Bodhi plates up approximately 1 kilogram of gnocchi each day, all hand-rolled by Brooke.

Bodhi in the media

Essentially, it's a diet based on fruits, vegetables, tubers, whole grains and legumes, avoiding animal products, eggs and dairy. More and more the term plant-based is used instead of vegan.
