Celebrate Lunar New Year at Bodhi
Throughout the 2020 Lunar New Year (25 January to 9 February), Bodhi guests will enjoy Lunar inspired specials. The special dishes are a take on the classics, with a vegan twist. Koi Mochi on a Coconut, Pumpkin & Pandan Layered dessert will be available at lunch, with the Palm Sugar Steamed Sponge Cake on the dinner menu.
For those looking to celebrate the big event, Bodhi will be holding a traditional lion dance performance at 7:30pm on Wednesday 29 January. All proceeds from the evening will be donated to WIRES, and there will be a donation box on the night where Bodhi will be matching donations dollar for dollar.
Bodhi will also be giving one lucky ‘hungbao’ fortune packet to each dinner booking at the Lunar New Year event, which could contain anything from a sage piece of advice to a complimentary meal, or a $200 dining voucher. Lunar New Year is a special time to pay homage to the year past and the year to come by gathering family and friends to celebrate under the fig trees at Bodhi.
Share the Love this Valentine's Day
Whether you're getting the girls together for a vegan feast, or taking your loved one out for a cocktail, Valentine's Day at Bodhi is always about sharing the love.
We've done the pre-planning for you, with three seating times and three drink package options on Friday 14 February. Choose between 5:00pm, 6:45pm and 8:30pm, and take your pick of the set menu starting at $69 per person, $76 per person with a glass of bubbles or $81 per person with a cocktail on arrival.

RECIPE: Mango Salad with Nam Jim Dressing
Nothing says summer quite like the arrival of mango season. "This incredibly versatile fruit always features prominently in both sweet and savoury dishes in our home,” says Bodhi's owner Heaven Leigh.
The variety of combinations for dishes in which mango has a starring role are endless. You can make everything from curry and chutney to salad and dessert.
One of Heaven's favourite summer dishes is a Mango Salad with Nam Jim Dressing, and it only takes 15 minutes to prepare.
Bodhi Loves: Australian Bush Flower Essence
We love natural remedies, especially when they're native to our beautiful country. Australian Bush Flower Essence creates organic natural essences from Australian plants and flowers, with a focus on healing, easing anxiety, and aiding one’s spiritual journey.
It is said that these natural remedies have a similar effect to meditation. The remedy essences, especially the Clear & Calm product range, are perfect for taking morning and night to keep your adrenal system at a steady rate.
